Stop by The Coffee Bar at the Stamp on Wednesday, February 11, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., for the return of Coffee with a Cop. Warm up by grabbing a free cup of coffee or tea.

The University of Maryland Police Department’s (UMPD) mission is to serve the university community, to protect life and property, and to uphold the law, all within a supportive, respectful and inclusive environment. We want our community to know that UMPD is responsible for enforcing Maryland state, local and traffic laws. UMPD does not enforce federal immigration laws and our department does not have a 287g agreement with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

We are conducting a training exercise today at the UMGC Administration Building (3501 University Boulevard) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can expect to see an increased public safety presence in that area - this is all part of the training exercise. Signs will be posted in the area while the training is in progress.

Join Teddy the Terp and UMPD for crafting with Teddy. Take a break from studying and make a friendship bracelet, de-stress by coloring or just chill with Teddy. 

Stop by The Coffee Bar at the Stamp on Wednesday, December 10, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., for the last Coffee with a Cop of the semester. Warm up by grabbing a free cup of coffee or tea or get a hug from Teddy the Terp or both! 

Donate a new, unwrapped children's toy at the Pocomoke Building for Toys for Tots until December 15. 

Join the University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) at The Coffee Bar in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union for Coffee with a Cop event. Members of the University of Maryland community can grab a free cup of coffee or tea and get to know the team at UMPD.
