Statistics & Reports
The University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) publishes various statistics for incidents that occur on campus and within our concurrent jurisdiction. These include monthly statistics reported to the FBI, our Daily Crime and Incident Log, Campus Security Authority Incident Log, Arrest Log, Clery Act Information & Reports, and Internal Affairs Annual Reports.
Crime Reports
UMPD statistics delivered monthly for the FBI's crime reporting program.
Daily Crime and Incident Logs
Provides basic information on all calls for service that UMPD responds to, updated daily.
Campus Security Authority Incident Logs
Provides basic information on incident data provided to UMPD by designated Campus Security Authorities (CSA). These incidents may not have been reported to UMPD for a response or investigation, but merely for informational purposes. The cases are generally referred to the Office of Civil Rights and Sexual Misconduct or to the Office of Student Conduct for appropriate action. Information is provided periodically and updated when received.
Arrest Logs
Provides basic information on all arrests processed by the UMPD for the past several years, updated daily.
Clery Act Info & Reports
Information on and statistics reported annually to the Department of Education as required by the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act.
Internal Affairs Annual Reports
The members of the UMPD are committed to providing quality service to our community. Agency personnel are to conduct themselves professionally and courteously while achieving our mission and upholding our values.
Each year our agency publishes an Internal Affairs Annual Report that is available for you to review.
Dashboard
UMPD’s interactive dashboard presents various department data in a clear and concise manner. This dashboard and its data are ever changing. When active investigations yield criminal charges, the information will change to reflect the new findings. The dashboard is updated quarterly.
