Uniform Crime Reports
In 2021, the FBI retired the Summary Reporting System (SRS) and transitioned to a National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) - a new national data collection standard. The University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) began reporting using this new format in January of 2023.
