Child Car Seat Installation

The University of Maryland Police Department offers child car seat installation. This free service is available to anyone. A certified child safety seat technician will assist you with installing the seat, and will provide guidance on the proper use of your child safety seat. To set up an appointment, please apply online.

At your appointment, please bring the child if possible, the child safety seat with the manual, and the vehicle (if possible, with the owner’s manual) you want the seat installed in.
