The University of Maryland Police Department (UMPD) is hosting the Spring 2024 Citizens Police Academy. We invite members of the community to come learn about various aspects of our department in a simulated academy setting. The goal of the Citizens Police Academy is to build relationships across the campus and within our community.

The University of Maryland Police Department and Maryland Athletics are partnering up for the annual Toys for Tots drive.

INCIDENT:                 Burglary OCCURRED:              November 6, 2023 (Monday)/ Approximately 8 p.m.

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the University of Maryland Police Department in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration will participate in the 25th National Drug Take Back Initiative. During this event, members of the community can safely dispose of their unwanted, unused and/or expired prescription drugs at the Pocomoke Building (7569 Baltimore Avenue, College Park, MD). This service is free and anonymous. No questions asked.
