A UMD Community Text Alert was sent for an off-campus armed robbery that occurred in the7500 block of Girard Avenue on October 24, 2019. **Community Notice** The purpose of this e-mail is to make you aware of an incident that occurred off-campus near the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The following is a synopsis of an incident reported to the Prince George's County Police Department.   INCIDENT:                Off-Campus Armed Robbery OCCURRED:             October 25, 2019/ Approximately 3:15 a.m.

UPDATE: We have identified the suspect in this case. College Park, MD – On October 26, 2019, the University of Maryland Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) participated in the 18th Annual Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., our site collected approximately 20 pounds of expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
